I believe, with good reason, I think,
that there is nothing for us after death.
After all, where does the flame go
when the candle burns out?
Our life just ends, and that's it.
Before I was born, the universe existed for billions of years,
and after I die, it will exist for billions of years more,
and all we get are these few, precious decades,
this razor-thin sliver of time,
to create for ourselves a life of meaning.
What I want you to know is this:
With this one chance that I have,
this singular opportunity
that I am so lucky to have,
I choose you.
